Twisted Strings

Unique Distraction

Twisted Strings

I do my best to impress,
But still she walks right past,
Every day I smartly dress,
But good impressions don't last

Why won't she notice me, Ignorant yet such a beauty
To my eye's satisfaction, She's one unique distraction

I see her with her friends,
I wish I could be there,
My broken heart her love could mend,
My will to speak unfair,

Why won't she notice me, Why can't our hearts agree,
That we should be together, She know I'd never let her go
