There Is No Good In Me

J. Tillman

There is no good in me
I possess a taste for blood
I have numbered mankind's days
I have watched the father spare the ram
And throw his son upon the flames

There is no good in me
I possess a holy fear
I'm silent in the jealous tongue
I have rendered families from their home
That I may lay claim to their young
